About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Transport and Fleet Operations Head to lead the nationwide management of approximately 800–900 trucks and vehicles across multiple locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics operations, fleet efficiency, regulatory compliance, and overall cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a forward-looking approach to optimize large-scale fleet and logistics operations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fleet Management

• Vehicle Lifecycle Management: Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and disposal of fleet vehicles, including budget planning, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and end-of-life management.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Design and manage a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime, extend vehicle lifespan, and ensure all units are safe, reliable, and roadworthy.
• Fuel Management: Monitor fuel consumption trends, implement efficiency strategies, and develop cost-saving measures across the nationwide fleet.
• Insurance & Licensing Compliance: Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, insured, and compliant with regulatory requirements, including managing renewals and claims processes.

2. Nationwide Operations Oversight

• Driver Workforce Management: Lead the hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of drivers, while enforcing safety standards and compliance with company policies.
• Route Planning & Optimization: Develop and implement routing strategies to improve delivery efficiency, reduce travel time, and optimize fuel usage across nationwide routes.
• Dispatch & Scheduling: Oversee vehicle assignments, dispatch operations, and logistics scheduling to ensure on-time delivery and operational reliability.
• Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure all fleet and logistics operations adhere to government regulations, transport laws, and internal safety policies.

3. Budgeting and Cost Efficiency

• Budget Planning & Oversight: Develop and manage annual budgets for fleet and operations, including accurate cost forecasting and revenue projections.
• Cost Control & Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce operational expenses through process improvement, vendor negotiation, fuel management, and efficient resource utilization.

4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• KPI Measurement & Analysis: Track and report on critical performance metrics such as vehicle utilization, fuel efficiency, downtime, maintenance costs, and incident rates.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Generate regular operational and financial reports with actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• At least 8–10 years of experience in fleet and logistics operations, with proven leadership experience managing large-scale fleets (800+ vehicles).
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, driver management, safety compliance, and logistics operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and negotiate with vendors.
• Proficiency in fleet management systems and logistics software is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month
