Finance Encoder

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Encoder is responsible for accurately encoding, verifying, and maintaining financial data in the company's accounting system. This role ensures the integrity and timeliness of financial information, supporting the Finance Department in reporting, reconciliation, and record-keeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encode and update financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, disbursements, and journal entries into the accounting system.
• Review and verify accuracy of supporting documents prior to encoding.
• Maintain organized digital and physical records of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support in bank reconciliation and other accounting-related reconciliations.
• Ensure proper classification and coding of transactions based on company policies.
• Coordinate with other departments to collect and validate financial documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial records and data.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance Officer.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field or have a basic knowledge on finance and accounting.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or data encoding (fresh graduates may also apply).

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Soft Skills:

• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php695.00 per day
