Job description:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Network and Admin Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role is essential for supporting the daily network infrastructure, providing technical support, and managing the overall IT environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in network management, administration, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Management: Set up, monitor, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users on network issues, hardware malfunctions, and software-related problems.
  • System Setup & Configuration: Assist with the installation, configuration, and management of network devices such as routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and troubleshoot MS365 environments, including user accounts, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint configurations.
  • Network Security: Monitor network security systems and assist in implementing security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance on network infrastructure, apply patches, and update firmware for networking hardware (e.g., TP-Link, OMADA, Unifi systems).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation on network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and support requests.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the reliability of network systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing and setting up networks, including configuring hardware, troubleshooting, and providing network support.
  • Education: IT-related degree or diploma (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Administration).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • Proficiency with network hardware (routers, switches, access points).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (admin center, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with TP-Link, OMADA, or Unifi networking systems is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and firewall management.
  • Proficient in system administration tasks on both Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
