NetSuite Principal Consultant

You will be the principle consultant on complex managed service tickets and optimisation projects, responsible for:

• Taking ownership of the functional configuration of the system, including all personalised or custom solutions, providing quality checks and sign off prior to the solution being released to the client, ensuring that the output is aligned to the requirements and scope.
• Performing complex system configuration when required.
• Maintaining strong client relationships by ensuring we meet SLAs
• Ensuring solution documentation is up to date in the system and project management software.
• Performing client walkthroughs and training sessions.
• Performing list & transactional data migration uploads into a clients production account.
• Working closely with the wider project team to deliver functional configuration.
• Acting as a subject matter expert in chosen verticals and areas of NetSuite functionality.
• Identifying change requests and alterations in scope.
• Working with the technical services and QA team to scope & document custom solutions.
• Providing functional estimates for customisations.
• Listening to the clients needs, understanding their processes, and translating into NetSuite solutions.

• Identifying NetSuite limitations and recommending best practice approaches specific to the client requirements.

• Working across multiple projects, juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time.

• Taking the customer on a NetSuite journey and ensure change is embedded successfully.
• Effective delegation of tasks to the functional consultants.
• Ensuring you are up to date with the latest NetSuite release notes to ensure customers are getting the most up to date advice available.

• Work closely with the project manager to provide weekly updates on project progress.
• Managing tasks across the projects, ensuring all are up to date in our project management software.
• Engaging the MacroFin subject matter experts and technical leads to provide solutions and quality assurance.
• Keeping project stakeholders engaged and informed.
• Ensuring delivery and project management principles are adhered to.
• Proactively seek development and guidance where needed.
• Collaborating with the wider team to solve complex requirements.

• Providing detailed and accurate timesheets to enable efficient billing.
• Proactively seek development and guidance where needed.
• Supporting the Managed Service Lead and Client Services Lead in delivering an incredible client experience
• Collaborating with the wider team to solve complex requirements.
• Developing junior consultants both on projects and offline training.
• Undertake continuous training to develop NetSuite knowledge and consulting skills.
• Effectively utilising Macrofins cloud-based project management tool.
• Adopting and championing Macrofin project & non-project processes.

• Extensive experience working in a NetSuite consultancy/implementation role.
• 10+ end to end implementations in the Software, Services or WD vertical.
• Strong time management skills this role will be working on multiple tasks and projects at once
• Exposure to accounting & finance processes.
• Exceptional knowledge of all core process areas (R2R, P2P, O2C, D2B)
• Experience leading a project team.
• Strong customer engagement and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to mentor & develop junior staff.
• Self-starter, working autonomously providing updates where required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent data migration skills including list data, transactional data, & ad-hoc data migration updates.
• Thorough understanding of the cutover process between legacy systems & NetSuite.
• Thorough understanding of the SuiteSuccess processes & methodology.

• 5+ years implementing SuiteSuccess projects as a senior lead

• Strong experience in SuiteBilling and/or WD modules

• Product knowledge in; ARM, Billing, Advanced Financials including FX, Taxation, FAM, Financial reports, Multibook, integrations into NetSuite.

• Finance experience, transactional or analytical.
• Exposure to management reporting
• Bachelors degree in information systems, IT, Computing or similar
• Project management or transformation certificates
• NetSuite ERP Consultant Certified.
