Occupational Health Nurse RN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, emergency care, and medical attention to employees as needed.
• Conduct health assessments, medical examinations, and wellness screenings.
• Monitor and maintain employee health records in compliance with company policies and confidentiality standards.
• Develop and implement workplace health and wellness programs.
• Assist in evaluating work environments to identify potential health risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Administer prescribed medications, vaccines, and treatments when authorized.
• Collaborate with management, HR, and safety officers on health-related policies and compliance with DOLE/OSHS regulations.
• Educate employees on occupational health, safety practices, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Support incident investigations, health surveillance, and return-to-work programs.
• Ensure availability and proper maintenance of medical supplies, equipment, and clinic facilities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with updated PRC license.
• Certified Occupational Safety and Health Nurse (COSHN) or completion of the required BOSH/COSH training is an advantage.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards, labor regulations, and health protocols.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in medical emergencies.
