Role Overview

We are looking for a fast, creative, and detail-oriented Multimedia Editor to transform raw video footage into high-performing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and livestream highlights. This role blends speed with storytelling—you'll need to work quickly while keeping brand voice, trend alignment, and visual quality consistent.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Editing & Publishing

  • Edit 3–5 short-form videos per day, optimized for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Create compelling hooks, captions, and text overlays to maximize watch time and engagement.
  • Cut down long-form or livestream content into viral-ready clips.
  • Perform color correction, sound balancing, and add brand-consistent motion graphics as needed.

Content Enhancement

  • Incorporate trending sounds, effects, and formats aligned with the brand tone.
  • Ensure vertical format optimization (9:16) for all content.
  • Apply subtitles and animations to improve retention.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Content Operations Manager and TikTok Live Producer to prioritize content from shoots and live events.
  • Coordinate with content creators, hosts, and videographers to get necessary assets and B-roll.
  • Suggest creative editing ideas to improve storytelling and performance.

File & Asset Management

  • Organize footage, maintain project files, and back up content according to workflow standards.
  • Maintain a library of reusable assets, templates, and overlays.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 1–3 years in video editing, ideally for social media.
  • TikTok, Reels, or Shorts editing experience strongly preferred.

Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and trends in short-form video.
  • Graphic and motion design skills are a plus.
  • Basic audio mixing and color correction knowledge.

Soft Skills:

  • Extremely detail-oriented while working fast.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management.
  • Able to receive and act on feedback quickly.

KPIs

  • Daily output volume (3–5 videos).
  • Content engagement rate and watch time.
  • Turnaround time from shoot to publish-ready.
  • Percentage of edited content hitting target views/CTR.

Tools & Platforms

  • Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop (or equivalents)
  • CapCut / Descript for speed editing
  • TikTok Business Center, Meta Business Suite (basic posting/preview knowledge)
