Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company by managing accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role ensures compliance with financial regulations, provides strategic insights to support business decisions, and drives efficiency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
  • Support department heads in managing and optimizing their budgets.

3. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage company cash flow and liquidity to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Oversee banking relationships and monitor fund availability for payments and investments.
  • Implement cost-saving and cash management strategies.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, financial reporting standards, and internal control procedures.
  • Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain and improve internal control systems and financial policies.

5. Strategic Financial Planning

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business strategies and decision-making.
  • Evaluate financial performance of projects, investments, and business initiatives.
  • Advise management on financial risks and opportunities.

6. Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to professional standards, deadlines, and company values.
  • Promote continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Work Set-up:

Monday to Friday, onsite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php80, Php100,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • CPA license (Required)
