Job Summary:

The Automation Test Lead will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the automation testing team to deliver high-quality automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Define, design, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks and test suites.
  • Must have solid years of experience in Manual Testing.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
  • Plan and execute automation testing activities for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
  • Manage and maintain test environments, data, and configurations for automation runs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Automation Tester.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure Test Plans, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
