Work directly with a top-10 ranked professional pickleball player who competes nationwide, has major sponsorships, and is rapidly growing their personal brand in one of the fastest-growing sports in the U.S. You'll collaborate with a driven, tech-savvy athlete to create visual content that engages thousands of followers and builds excitement around their career.

Our client is seeking a creative Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist to develop a cohesive visual identity for their social media presence. Your mission is to transform individual posts into a unified, scroll-worthy Instagram "poster" using an astronaut/space theme that reflects speed, power, and ambition. You'll design easy-to-use templates for photos, sponsor logos, and achievements—turning scattered posts into a polished brand. This role offers creative freedom, direct collaboration, and the chance to grow into full social media management.

Responsibilities

  • Design branded templates and visual elements to create a cohesive Instagram grid layout ("scrolling poster" effect)

  • Develop astronaut/space-themed design concepts, incorporating rockets, clouds, and celestial elements to reinforce the athlete's brand identity

  • Create versatile graphics for tournament results, sponsor announcements, and milestone updates

  • Build easy-to-edit templates in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools for the client's ongoing use

  • Collaborate with the client to refine and adjust designs for brand consistency and impact

  • Potentially expand into content scheduling, posting, and engagement management based on performance

  • Ensure all designs are optimized for social media platforms and maintain a professional, polished look


Requirements

  • Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio (social media/Instagram work preferred)

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools

  • Ability to develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across multiple posts

  • Experience with athlete branding or sports marketing is a plus, but not required

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with the client

  • Flexibility to adapt designs based on feedback and evolving needs

  • Passion for creative design and interest in sports marketing or personal branding
