Role Summary:

Leads the development and maintenance of the front-end gameplay experience, ensuring that game logic and assets are translated into polished, intuitive, and responsive user interactions. The role involves not only building core gameplay systems but also mentoring junior developers, setting technical standards, and driving optimization across mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and refine core gameplay features (e.g., movement, combat, item systems) with scalability and maintainability in mind.
  • Develop advanced UI components and workflows (menus, inventory systems, in-game shops, player customization, etc.).
  • Integrate and optimize graphical assets, sound, and animation pipelines for high performance on mobile (iOS & Android).
  • Lead technical reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior and mid-level developers.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, design, art, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and high-quality user experiences.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and implement advanced optimization techniques.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, and best practices for the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field (Master's a plus).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in game development with strong programming skills in

    , with a strong portfolio of mobile (iOS/Android) game projects.
  • Solid understanding of game design principles, software architecture, engine internals, data structures, and optimization strategies.
  • Proven ability to profile, debug, and optimize performance across diverse devices and platforms.
  • Experience leading small to mid-sized development teams or mentoring junior engineers.
  • Proficiency with version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket) and collaborative workflows.
