Job Summary:
The HR Manager will lead and oversee all human resources functions for our IT organization, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business objectives. This role will support the growth of technical teams, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT roles (developers, engineers, QA, DevOps, product managers, etc.).
- Develop sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent, including partnerships with universities, coding bootcamps, and online platforms.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate technical assessments, and facilitate the hiring process.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR matters.
- Promote a positive work environment and resolve employee issues or conflicts efficiently.
- Develop and implement employee engagement programs tailored for IT teams.
- Performance Management & Career Development:
- Implement performance evaluation systems, goal setting, and appraisal processes.
- Support career pathing and training initiatives for technical and non-technical staff.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate technical or soft-skills training programs.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Develop competitive salary structures aligned with the IT industry standards.
- Manage employee benefits, perks, and reward programs.
- Provide insights for retention strategies specific to tech talent.
- HR Policies & Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies comply with labor laws, company policies, and IT industry standards.
- Keep updated on regulations affecting IT employees, including remote work policies and contractual arrangements.
- Monitor HR metrics and provide reports to management for decision-making.
- Organizational Development:
- Partner with leadership to plan workforce needs, including hiring projections and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Lead change management initiatives during IT transformations or organizational growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in the IT or tech sector.
- Strong understanding of HR practices in IT environments, including agile teams, remote work, and project-based staffing.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, recruitment platforms, and performance management tools.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics.
- Leadership and people management capabilities.
- Knowledge of labor laws and IT industry employment trends.
