Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to support engineering and project teams in producing accurate and detailed mechanical and industrial drawings. This role focuses on translating design concepts and physical samples into high quality 2D and 3D drawings that support manufacturing and project execution. The position requires strong technical drafting capability attention to detail and effective collaboration with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce detailed mechanical and industrial drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor

Create engineering drawings including architectural plans site general arrangements and P and ID diagrams

Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings to support the manufacture of industrial equipment from existing samples

Develop site layouts and equipment drawings aligned with project specifications and standards

Participate in design reviews and implement drawing revisions as required

Maintain drawing registers and support the creation and upkeep of technical documentation

Coordinate closely with production and project teams to ensure drawings support efficient manufacturing

Perform quality checks to ensure all designs meet company drafting and engineering standards

Stay current with drafting best practices and relevant industry standards

Travel to project sites occasionally as required

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of professional experience in industrial drafting or mechanical design

Strong proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor

Demonstrated mechanical drafting experience in a professional environment

High level of IT proficiency including Excel Word and Outlook

Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain effective working relationships

Proven ability to deliver work within defined standards for time cost and quality

Previous experience in industrial or gas related projects is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced 3D modeling capability using Inventor including conversion from physical samples

Strong experience with P and ID and GA drafting for industrial applications

Familiarity with gas and industrial engineering standards

Exceptional attention to detail and strong quality control discipline

Clear communication skills and ability to incorporate technical feedback efficiently
