The Employee's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform general accounting processes such as but not limited to: AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, monthly closing of books, etc. ensuring accurate recording and timely reporting
  • Capable of preparing and reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing month-end journals, closing adjustments, and reconciliation entries.
  • Responsible for preparing monthly financial statements for assigned clients.
  • Assist in external audits by preparing working papers, collaborating with the internal team and external auditors to ensure successful audit results.
  • Able to assist juniors with their inquiries and issues.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or related field.

Certified Public Accountant has an advantage.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

BS Accountancy/Finance

3 to 5 year experience in month end close process and preparation of monthly financial statement

Excellent in oral and written communication

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledgeable of any ERP e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, preferred but not required

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

· Keen interest with dealing with numbers and data sets

· Highly skilled with Microsoft applications (advanced Excel skills preferred)

· Pro-active, detailed, and results oriented

· Effective organizational skills and time management

· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision while delivering high quality results in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
