Netsuite Architect

About the Role

Our client is embarking on a global NetSuite transformation program spanning 19 countries. We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture and implementation of NetSuite ERP. This individual will play a key role in shaping the solution blueprint, driving strategic and technical alignment across teams, and ensuring successful delivery across complex, multi-system environments

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Architecture Ownership

• Own and evolve the global NetSuite blueprint into actionable, implementation-ready designs that balance global standardization (80%) with localized compliance (20%).
• Define architecture across core processes, integrations, and data models with a focus on scalability and compliance.
• Support the Data and Middleware teams in developing a robust master data governance framework (COA, legal entities, revenue/charge codes, etc.).
• Ensure architecture decisions mitigate delivery and transition risks.

2. Program Alignment & Integration

• Translate business transformation goals into technical guardrails and architecture principles.
• Collaborate with Middleware, Data, HRMS, and Operational Systems teams to design scalable integrations (real-time and batch), data flows, and system touchpoints.
• Minimize duplication and manual entry through seamless process and system integration.

3. Program Execution & Delivery

• Lead solution design and validation phases as the primary NetSuite authority.
• Conduct cross-functional workshops to translate global designs into executable localized solutions.
• Co-own implementation execution with the NetSuite product team, covering design validation, cutover planning, data migration, go-live, and hypercare.
• Monitor architectural consistency and manage technical dependencies and risks across all implementation phases.

4. Governance & Compliance

• Represent architecture function in Steering Committees and Governance Boards.
• Present trade-offs (e.g., customization vs out-of-the-box) with ROI and risk analysis.
• Govern solution compliance with regulatory standards (GDPR, local tax laws, PII).
• Maintain and document Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

• Act as the bridge between IT, Finance, Operations, and Business to ensure alignment.
• Secure executive sponsorship and buy-in through clear communication of value (e.g., cost savings from standardization).
• Resolve competing demands through phased, pragmatic solution roadmaps.
• Mentor internal teams on NetSuite best practices and technical governance.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferred Certifications: TOGAF, NetSuite ERP, or equivalent.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise systems implementation.
• Proven hands-on experience in NetSuite ERP implementation (Financials, SuiteScript, Multi-book, Advanced Revenue Management).
• Deep understanding of ERP ecosystems and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong background in master data governance and migration.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts for executive-level stakeholders.
• Experience in large-scale, multi-country transformation programs.
• Familiarity with structured delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile).
