Qualifications:

• Graduate of Architecture or Engineering with PRC Registration

• Minimum of:

• 10 years experience in Project Management (with PMP Certification), or

• 15 years related experience in Project Management (without PMP Certification)

• Strong knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals

• Extensive network within the industry

Job Overview:

This position discharges the functions of Area Manager to Assist the Managing Director. It Identifies Business Opportunities, pursues business engagements and oversee the entire project operation ensuring that the essential elements of service are completely and satisfactorily completed at the right time, at the most cost efficient manner and following acceptable and statutory standards.

Area of Responsibility

• Produces new Projects through exploring project sources for the overall business development for the company
• Directs all operating aspects of project delivery, including determining, formulating, developing, installing, coordinating and administering the necessary elements from the beginning of the design to the termination of the warranty and guarantee periods.
• Ensures the conformance by all parties to the quality plans, policies and procedures for the expeditious implementation and quality delivery of the Project
• Ensures that the owner's decisions on quality standards are conformed with, throughout the progress of the project by monitoring the project brief and specifications including design reviews and submittals, and monitoring the project procedures on quality assurance and quality control based on the quality standards and program jointly established by the PMO ( Quality Management Section)
• Checks the overall effectiveness of the site safety and health program being implemented for the project in accordance with the stipulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the Department of Labor and Employment
• Ensures controlled operations by combining the elements of time with the project resources from the start of the design to occupancy, and advises the Owner/Developer of any constraints and critical factors that may be a cause for delay in the completion of the Project and recommends appropriate solutions at the executive level
• Assists in evaluating requests for Extension of Time (EOT) and making appropriate recommendations
• Oversees all project related cost aspects of the operation including conceptual and construction estimating, feasibility studies, comparative cost studies, and communicative estimating techniques
• Identifies and predicts project related expense in addition to construction costs and deliver accurate cost information to the owner intimely and an acceptable manner
• Monitors the proper use of overall budget and provides decisions for necessary means of adjustment regarding budget allocationand management
• Monitors coordination and meetings with prospective bidders that are being initiated by the CPM
• Evaluates each project from a contracting perspective based on unique conditions and requirements of the project and localconstruction industry
• Monitors the Procurement Strategy including Bid and Contract Documents
• Reviews, from time to time, contract related correspondences affecting owners, contractors, suppliers, consultants and designers
• Seeks, proactively, business clients; participates in the development of a short and long term marketing plans, as well as in the identification of the appropriate sales strategies
• Responsible for the overall performance of the entire CPM Team and the Performance Evaluation of each member as well as make appropriate decisions for promotions or disciplinary actions deserved by each member of the CPM Team
• Performs the management functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php100, Php145,000.00 per month
