Job Description:

Operations Plant Technical Oversight Coordination

1. Establish a communication protocol with Operations plant civil discipline leads and stakeholders.
2. Establish and lead regular civil discipline forums for consultation on technical challenges and technical process standardization as well as sharing operational experience and industry technology trends.
3. Monitor Operations plant civil infrastructure integrity and interrogate any civil infrastructure failure events for the identification of lessons learnt and potential improvements.
4. Disseminate communication on identified lessons learnt and potential improvements to relevant plant stakeholders.

Operations Plant Technical Capacity Building Coordination

1. Oversee the development of training material for key technical competencies and technologies being utilized in ACEN Operations plants.
2. Oversee the scheduling of training interventions and the dissemination and presentation of the training material.
3. Facilitate regular skills capacity gap assessments for plant operations technical staff with support from HR.
4. Facilitate the annual development and review of a central skills development plan addressing the identified gaps in the competency of operations technical staff.

Lead the Development and Maintenance of Operations Plant Maintenance Plans and Strategies

1. Establish guidance documentation (procedures and templates) related to the development and regular review of effective maintenance plans for all the categories of civil infrastructure present at ACEN Operations plants.
2. Conduct RCM & FMECA workshops to develop maintenance plans for plant sites or clusters of plant sites with similar technology applications.
3. Monitor Operations plant performance and failure reports to identify any address any maintenance plan shortcomings.
4. Identify and motivate reliability engineering-based performance improvement opportunities through the utilization of advanced analytics and monitoring technologies that will monitor plant civil infrastructure integrity and condition and will enable detailed analysis of available data.
5. Perform regular review of maintenance plans taking into consideration plant failure history, design base violations, advanced analytics data and in-house and 3rd party condition assessment reporting.

Drive the Alignment of Engineering Practices with Company-Wide Technical Standards

1. Develop or review and update Operations plant technical standards and associated company wide guidance documentation (procedures, templates) related to
   plant operational practices, plant civil maintenance practices, equipment specification, equipment standardization, test and inspection methodologies, configuration management, management of change for plant equipment design, failure root cause analysis
   and other design base related aspects.
2. Benchmark these technical standards against industry best practices and update its contents as deemed necessary.
3. Co-ordinate consultation for the development of and awareness of any changes to these standards, through workshops, training sessions and other means of communication.
4. Perform periodic review of technical standards to incorporate changes in technology and operational requirements.
5. Review and support individual Operations plant or cluster specific guidance documentation (procedures, templates) developed with reference to Company-wide technical standards.
6. Conduct regular compliance audits to verify adherence to and complete understanding of these technical standards by all the Operations plants.
7. Co-ordinate Operations Plant Technical Risk Identification and Associated Risk Management Activities
8. Lead the identification of significant categories of civil infrastructure related long-term and short-term risks that may affect production continuity, plant operational safety or financial sustainability on an ongoing basis in consultation with Operations plant civil discipline leads.
9. Develop risk assessments for the identified risks with risk ratings and mitigating and corrective actions assigned to action owners in compliance with corporate integrated risk management guidance documentation.
10. Track, monitor and regularly report on the effectiveness of mitigating actions and the progress with the implementation of corrective actions as well as any changes in the nature of the identified risks.

Education Requirement:

• Must have a bachelor's degree and have passed the licensure exam to obtain registration as a licensed engineer in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineering registration is preferable.
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is an advantage.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certifications is an advantage.

Technical Knowledge, Special Trainings and Work Experience related to:

• Understanding design theory, practical application and lifecycle management of all categories of industrial civil infrastructure relevant to the Power Generation industry.
• Practical experience in civil infrastructure, user specification, scope of work development, design construction oversight and civil drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency in commissioning, operation, acceptance testing and maintenance of industrial civil infrastructure.
• Have intimate knowledge of, understand and can follow Philippine and international technical standards relevant to civil infrastructure.
• Familiarity with any project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Primavera/ MS Projects), project lifecycle, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MSOffice applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
• Detailed practical knowledge of categories of civil infrastructure implemented on solar photovoltaic (PV), thermal and wind power plants.
• Typically, 10 + years of experience in the renewable energy industry or related power generation field.
