LocationDiezmo Rd Pulo Cabuyao Laguna | 4025Major FunctionResponsible for all SH&E communications, promote the environmentally friendly process, supervise and monitor environmental projects and legal compliance. This includes monitoring the operational facilities and the performance of measurements. Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor activities regarding installation, operation and proper maintenance of pollution sources and control facilities of the above establishment / project.

Handle other environmental concerns / matters as required by the employer. Attend meetings that may be called from time to time and enhance coordination between and among other colleagues in the region. Perform other duties and responsibilities relating to environmental management as may be assigned from time to time by immediate superiorMaintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace and actively participate in ALL Cleaning and Environmental programs set by the management such as cleaning drive campaign, tree planting and other programs.

Submit required environmental compliance and monitoring reports to the DENR-EMB and LLDA duly certified by authorized company representatives. Immediately report to DENR-EMB, LLDA the breakdown of any Pollution Control Facility as well as establishment and actual date of completion of its repair and operations. Must be updated with the new regulations and requirements as well as the latest technology on the prevention and control of pollution.

Ensure compliance of the above establishment / project with the requirements of Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) – DENR, Laguna Lake Development Authority – (LLDA)Recommend management of installation and operation of additional device / facility and implementation of other measures for pollution abatement when necessary. Observes own safety and environmental responsibility while delivering his / her task inside DC premises. Involvement in activities for the continuous improvement of SH&E.Coordinates registration and removal of hazardous waste.

Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation. Promotes safe practices at the job site. Qualifications1.

Professional Qualification

  • Engineering Graduate – any fire (5) year course for Category B Project
  • College Graduate – any (4) year course for Category A Project
  • PCO Accreditation (DENR & LLDA)
  • Continuing Environmental Education Program
  • Basic Pollution Control Training
  • Knowledgeable in Environmental Aspect especially (ISO14001)Other Minimum Qualifications (any of the following specific for PCO Accreditation).1.

Licensed Engineer of appropriate discipline (Category B); or a graduate of any four (4) year course (Category A).2. Has been in the company for the past three (3) years in a supervisory position.3. Owner or Manager of the establishment, regardless of professional qualifications.2. Personal Qualification
