The Accountant Manager (CPA) is responsible for overseeing the organization's accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and full compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations. The role supports management in financial planning, budgeting, and decision-making through timely and reliable financial insights.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance reporting, and profitability assessments.

2. Tax Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

  • Prepare and file BIR tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, LGU permits).
  • Handle tax audits, respond to BIR queries, and prepare supporting schedules.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and highlight variances.
  • Support management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.

4. Accounts Management

  • Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Review and approve vouchers, invoices, and payment requests.
  • Oversee bank reconciliation and ensure proper cash flow monitoring.

5. Internal Controls & Audit Support

  • Implement and maintain internal accounting controls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.

6. Payroll & Disbursements

  • Oversee payroll preparation and ensure accurate computation of wages and taxes.
  • Review reimbursement claims, petty cash liquidation, and other disbursements.

7. Documentation & Records Management

  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.

Job Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in general accounting, finance, or audit
  • Strong understanding of PFRS, tax rules, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting systems/software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
