Job DescriptionThe Software Release Engineer will join the newly established Release Management Hub team in Makati (Metro Manila), managing Avaloq software releases for clients in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Responsibilities include building, configuring, and deploying software artifacts across test, integration, and production environments. You will support a defined set of customers through various SDLC phases and go-live processes. Your key tasksPlanning and executing the rollout of Avaloq products in controlled environments.

Ensuring end-to-end accountability for successful release delivery into live environments. Validating release scope with project and delivery managers. Completing technical validation of releases and reporting for go-live.

Creating and managing implementation plans, release meetings, and production cutovers. Handling software packaging, code merging, and log analysis for Avaloq core and front platforms. Collaborating with specialists across domains for cross-functional activities.

Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including developers, project managers, test managers, and client managers. Documenting and educating users on release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment best practices. Note: You will work with clients in Europe, requiring shifts to accommodate different time zones, including regular office hours (Manila time), mid-shifts, and on-call support.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.3-5 years of experience in Release or Configuration Management, preferably in banking and financial services. Experience with Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, Gerrit, Bitbucket, or similar tools. Skills in analyzing technical problems and automating administrative tasks.

Conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and experience working in multicultural matrix teams. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Willingness to work shifts, including weekends, and support hotfix releases beyond scheduled hours.

Preferred SkillsKnowledge of Avaloq Front Platform and mobile application releases. Experience with Avaloq ICE Release Stream, cutover processes. Shell scripting, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Container Platforms.

Certifications such as Agile, Oracle Cloud, or ITIL.Ability to operate in fast-paced, complex environments. Proficiency in technical documentation (e.g., Confluence). Ideal candidates are analytical, reliable, service-oriented, and problem-solvers.
