Job Description
The Technical Writer supports the delivery organization by creating, organizing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation across the software development lifecycle. This includes sprint and release notes, knowledge base articles, process documentation, and internal training materials. The role works closely with Product, Development, QA, DevOps, and Operations teams to ensure consistent communication, alignment, and transparency across all deliverables. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Product Manager and will help establish documentation standards and best practices that scale with the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain documentation for software releases, including new features, enhancements, and defect resolutions
- Develop and organize sprint summaries, release notes, and post-release updates for internal and external stakeholders
- Write and maintain internal knowledge base articles supporting Product, Development, QA, Operations, and Client Services teams
- Partner with Product Managers to translate functional specifications and user stories into clear, usable documentation
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to ensure technical accuracy and completeness
- Document processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support organizational alignment and onboarding
- Maintain consistent documentation structure, versioning, and taxonomy across documentation repositories
- Assist in creating client-facing training materials, product guides, and help content as needed
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Beta program documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather details, clarify functionality, and ensure documentation reflects intended system behavior
- Ensure documentation aligns with corporate mission, goals, and branding standards
- Communicate documentation gaps, risks, and updates to management
- Assist with post-implementation documentation and ongoing updates
- Support migration and rollout efforts by developing guides and communication materials

Skills & Abilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or software documentation
- Experience documenting software features, workflows, and system functionality
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Experience creating SOPs, process maps, or knowledge base content
- Ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear documentation
- Ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional partners
- Prior HRIS, Payroll, or PEO experience preferred but not required
- Experience with content management systems or documentation platforms preferred
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience using documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of Agile software development environments
Certifications & Licenses
- Technical Writing certification preferred but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php55, Php100,000.00 per month
