Job Description

We are hiring a Technical Writer to own and maintain all product documentation across our platform. This includes online help, system guides, SDK/API references, release documentation, and internal technical materials. The role requires strong structure, precision, and the ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into clear, actionable information.

Responsibilities

Documentation Ownership - Build and maintain the full documentation suite:

• Online help / knowledge base
• User and admin guides
• API / SDK documentation
• Release notes and version-change logs
• Troubleshooting and operational guides

Content Development

• Convert technical specifications into concise, accurate documentation.
• Write step-by-step guides, workflows, and scenario-based instructions.
• Create diagrams, visuals, and technical illustrations where needed.
• Maintain consistent style, terminology, and structure across documents.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with Product Managers to define documentation scope for new features.
• Collaborate with Engineering to capture accurate system behavior.
• Align with QA on expected outputs, limitations, and edge cases.
• Support Customer Success with training materials and FAQs.

Documentation Infrastructure

• Manage the documentation platform (Confluence, Git-based system, or equivalent).
• Implement and maintain information architecture and version control.
• Establish documentation standards, templates, and writing guidelines.
• Maintain multiple product versions (LTS vs active releases).

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure documentation accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Keep materials aligned with security, privacy, and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Conduct periodic audits of documentation relevance and coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Technical Writer in software, AI, or enterprise platforms.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical systems.
• Experience writing online help, structured guides, and API documentation.
• Strong skills in Markdown, structured authoring, and diagramming tools.
• Experience with Git or version-controlled documentation workflows.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience in AI/ML, computer vision, or cloud-native systems.
