Qualifications

• High School graduate or College level
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
• No visible tattoos on exposed areas
• Neat appearance: nails trimmed, hair short and tidy, clean-shaven if applicable
• Diligent, proactive, and agile with strong leadership and teamwork skills

Job Description / Responsibilities

The Waiter / Server Team Leader oversees the front-of-house service team and ensures smooth daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting pre-shift inspections around the restaurant before opening to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Holding a brief pre-shift meeting with staff to assign tasks and review daily goals.
• Checking staff appearance to ensure grooming and uniform standards are met.
• Monitoring attendance and noting any tardiness or absences.
• Addressing previous day's issues and providing guidance for improvement.
• Mentoring new employees by assigning dedicated trainers or providing team leader guidance.
• Assigning specific work areas and responsibilities for efficient service flow.
• Ensuring weekly deep cleaning reports include furniture, air conditioners, and equipment, with completion time recorded.
• During service, ensuring cleaning is done from exterior to interior and that any areas needing restocking or additional cleaning are noted.
• For night shifts: conduct inventory checks. If any supply is below 2 units or bottles, report items that need replenishment.
• Maintain high service standards, professionalism, and guest satisfaction at all times.
