About the Role

This is a senior-level, high-impact role where you'll lead tool validation initiatives, assess risk, improve model governance, and influence strategy — all while mentoring a team and working closely with stakeholders across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and implement the company's enterprise-wide validation framework
  • Lead complex validation projects across business units
  • Assess risk, quality, and usage of analytical tools
  • Analyze technical issues in models and tools to surface insights
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and apply them to current toolsets
  • Prepare and deliver validation reports and executive-level presentations
  • Coach junior analysts and foster team development

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Math, CS, Analytics)
  • 7+ years in data analytics
  • 5+ years developing with open-source data tech (e.g., Python, R)
  • 2+ years in a people management role
  • Open to working hybrid (mostly remote)
  • Amenable to night or late mid shift

Good-to-Have

  • Master's or PhD in Statistics, Finance, OR, or similar
  • 5+ years in financial services
  • Hands-on experience building and validating econometric/statistical models
  • Exposure to data governance and predictive analytics
