Job Description

The CAD Operator or Draftsman is responsible for constructing detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software based on the specifications and requirements provided by engineer, architect or project manager to transform concepts and design ideas into accurate visual representation.

  • Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings, schematics, floor plans, and layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp and other applicable software.
  • Produce 3D designs and models when needed.
  • Participate in meetings, and assist/collaborate with engineer, architect and designer to determine the design specifications and requirements in drawings and layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes in all technical drawings.
  • Conduct site visit to gather information and measurements when necessary.
  • Update and revise floor plans and layouts to maintain accuracy.
  • Keep and maintain an organized record and compilation of drawings, schematics and layouts.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably with Technical Drafting NC II or a graduate of Bachelor of Industrial technology Major in Drafting Technology or any relevant degree.
  • Proficient in CAD software.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the succeeding knowledge and abilities may substitute for the education and experience requisites.
  • Willing to work Onsite - Merville, Parañaque.
