About the role

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights and strategic analysis to support the Insurance & Superannuation business. What you'll be doing

  • Manage financial risks in health insurance and financial products
  • Analyze statistical data to forecast mortality, morbidity, and disability rates
  • Design, evaluate, and price insurance policies to ensure profitability and financial stability
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, including fraud prevention measures
  • Conduct experience studies, analyze results, and recommend updates to policies based on market trends
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, reporting requirements, and actuarial standards of practice

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance
  • 2+ years Actuarial experience in Insurance or Financial Services
  • Progress toward an actuarial designation (SOA, ASP, or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Passion for continuous learning, growth, and collaboration
