Instructional Designer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Needs Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to identify knowledge and performance gaps, target audience characteristics, and desired learning outcomes.
  • Curriculum Design: Create comprehensive instructional design plans that align with learning objectives, utilizing sound adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Content Development: Develop compelling learning content including e-learning modules, lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, videos, simulations, and assessments.
  • Multimedia Integration: Select and integrate appropriate multimedia elements (e.g., video, audio, graphics, animations) to enhance learner engagement. Ability to flex content to different learning styles.
  • Pilot and Evaluation: Partner with SMEs to pilot learning solutions, collect feedback, and iterate on designs. Measure the effectiveness of training programs using appropriate evaluation methods.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field OR Completed at least 2 years in college with no back subjects.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design & Development.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience in Training facilitation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
