Responsibilities

  • Lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Implement quality control measures and address any discrepancies promptly.
  • Promote and implement eco-friendly cleaning practices and products.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Design and deliver training programs for housekeeping staff, focusing on green cleaning practices and customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and control usage to minimize waste and promote sustainability.
  • Ensure a hotel-like experience for passengers, concessionaires and visitors by maintaining high standards of service.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage the housekeeping budget, including labor costs and supply expenses.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management, preferably in a green building or luxury hotel environment.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing a large team of housekeeping staff.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in hospitality or environmental management is a plus.
  • Eco-Friendly Practices: Training in implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning practices.
  • Regular professional development in housekeeping management and sustainability trends
  • Certification in green cleaning practices is preferred.
  • Membership in professional organizations such as the International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) or similar is a plus.
  • Open to work on a weekend or holiday as needed to support its sites
  • Willing to be assigned in Malvar
