Job Description

ITAccelerate is working with our client, a residential home mortgage lender, to help build their team of highly intelligent and capable engineers. We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining our customer's loan servicing applications. Based in Cebu City, Philippines or San Jose, Costa Rica, this is a key role within our customer's engineering team, requiring extensive Java programming skills and the ability to aid in developing cutting edge technologies. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your client-side teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study
  • 5-7 years hands on Java Experience
  • Expert understanding of Java, Scala, Clojure, Python, Haskell, Lisp 
  • Experience in developing JavaScript frontends in React/Redux
  • Proficiency in JSON, XML, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Understanding of (an advanced or complimentary application(s)
  • Strong English communication skills – verbal and written testing required
  • Client and ITA cultural integration required – we like to have fun but work hard

  • Experience in Spring Boot
  • Familariarity with
  • DevOps experience and GraphQL

  • Unix / Linux operating system knowledge
