Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Head to lead the company's overall information technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems, with a strong focus on managing and optimizing Point of Sales (POS) solutions across retail branches. The IT Head will oversee the implementation of technology initiatives that support business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's IT strategy, policies, and best practices aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of Point of Sales (POS) systems in all retail locations.
  • Ensure seamless integration of POS with inventory, accounting, and customer management systems.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, software, and security systems.
  • Lead IT projects, such as system migrations, process automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols are in place and maintained.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime across all retail branches.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, and sales teams to ensure technology supports day-to-day business needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, software licensing, and IT procurement.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering continuous learning and high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing POS systems in a retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in integrating retail technologies such as ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.
