Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Forestry
- Preferably with PRC License
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication
- Computer literate and knowledgeable in MS Office Application
- With experience in leading different type of people
- Can work under pressure and minimal supervision
- With positive attitude toward co-workers and clients
- Willing to learn and be trained in supervising grounds, landscape maintenance and administration
- Preferably knows how to drive and with Driver's License
- Must be flexible with work location and schedule
- Must be willing to do field work and supervise teams on the ground
Job Description:
The Forester shall:
1. Review project requirements, design, drawings and estimates with the Operations Manager in advance in order to help determine upcoming job requirements.
2. Plan for the successful execution of the project to include the preparation daily, weekly and monthly tasks and assignment of lead men and crew.
3. Order all equipment, tools and materials necessary for the project. Act as custodian for all equipment, tools and materials.
4. Implement the project in compliance with the requirements of the client and the project management model. Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure superior performance.
5. Communicate with the lead men about the conditions and progress on the job.
6. Inspect the job site to insure quality workmanship.
7. Coordinate the work of subcontractors.
8. Proper disposal of debris. Determine dumping location on-site or outside the project site and utilize it.
9. Enlist new clients and projects to increase sales.
10. Communicate with the client while the job is in process. See to it that the customer is satisfied with the work being done. Get an accomplished customer Survey form at the end of the project.
11. Prepare a file for each job secured. Keep in that file all contracts, change orders, written communications, inclement weather or records of external factors that may affect the quality and timeliness of project delivery.
12. Keep track of all expenses incurred.
13. Implement 5S and Safety First Policies. Take the necessary steps to insure clean and proper housekeeping methods in order to promote sales and safety.
14. Attend to and respond to the client's needs and requests.
15. Maintain accurate records of crew work time, equipment hours, and installation time, etc., and report information to the Accounting Department on a timely basis.
16. Ensure implementation of preventive maintenance of all company equipment.
17. Maintain Forester's / Agriculturist's license.
18. Comply with all ISO procedures.
19. Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
