About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accounting Business Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between accounting operations and business strategy—leveraging data, systems, and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, reporting, and decision-making.

You'll collaborate closely with accounting, finance, IT, and business leaders to optimize workflows, support system implementations, and ensure our financial data drives strategic insight and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and accounting data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams to streamline month-end close, reporting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for accounting systems and reporting tools.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on process automation and system integration projects.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business analysis roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
