Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring sound financial management, compliance, and accountability across Dana Asia's operations and projects.
  • Oversees budgeting, reporting, audits, donor compliance, and management of the Social Business Fund (SBF).
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare consolidated management reports.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning across entities.
  • Oversee financial control and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage fund disbursements, repayments, and performance tracking for the SBF.
  • Conduct partner financial reviews and ensure alignment with grant terms.
  • Prepare donor reports, validate expenditures, and coordinate audits and filings.
  • Strengthen financial systems, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure financial and compliance to DA Group regulatory filings (BIR, SEC finance reports, etc.), track reporting deadlines and coordinate audits.
  • Prepare financial donor reports, validate expenses against donor budgets, and ensure funds are used per contract.
  • Conduct financial due diligence on partners and review financial reports submitted by implementing partners.
  • Design finance procedures, enforce procurement policy, and conduct compliance checks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, accounting, or similar role.
  • Experience working with NGOs, social enterprises, or donor-funded projects preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance framework.
  • Strong financial acumen, integrity, and the ability to manage multi-country financial operations
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Advanced knowledge producing financial accounts to balance sheet and Income statement level
  • Ability to reconcile accounts and problem solve errors and review incomplete records and advise on enhancing financial controls
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks/MYOB) and in Excel-based reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication (in English), reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work remotely and autonomously.

Other information:

  • This role will be based in Manila, Philippines.
    Only open to candidates with the legal right to work in the Philippines.
  • Negotiable Salary of around 80,000 PHP per month, based on experience, with benefits to be discussed.
