Position Overview:

The
Graphic Designer & IT Support Specialist
is a hybrid role responsible for delivering high-quality multimedia content that enhances the organization's branding and communication efforts, while also ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure.

This position requires both creative design expertise and strong IT technical skills. The specialist will support cross-functional teams by enabling effective communication and maintaining seamless technology operations.

Key Job Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Multimedia Production

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of multimedia materials, including but not limited to logos, brochures, flyers, posters, digital ads, infographics, social media content, videos, and presentation decks.
  • Edit and enhance photos and videos while maintaining consistency with brand identity and quality standards.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, CapCut, or similar tools to produce polished outputs.
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and product teams to translate project briefs into creative deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all outputs meet deadlines, technical requirements, and quality benchmarks.
  • Prepare design files optimized for print, web, and social media platforms, ensuring accuracy in color and resolution.
  • Stay updated on design trends and emerging multimedia technologies to continually improve content quality and engagement.

IT Systems Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and peripherals.
  • Manage and troubleshoot software installations, updates, and compatibility issues across various operating systems and company applications.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity and performance issues to minimize downtime.
  • Administer user accounts, access rights, and permissions in line with security policies and compliance standards.
  • Provide first-level technical support and user training, both remotely and onsite, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Conduct regular system backups, maintain antivirus/malware protection, and enforce IT security best practices.
  • Assist in IT infrastructure projects such as network upgrades, server management, and cloud service deployment.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT configurations, procedures, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Proactively monitor IT system health and escalate critical issues when necessary.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Coordinate with departments such as CME/ELM, Marketing, PRCM, Admin, and Finance to assess multimedia and IT needs.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align multimedia and IT initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Serve as a technical and creative resource for interdepartmental projects.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze system performance, user feedback, and multimedia engagement to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on IT support tickets, multimedia usage, and system performance.
  • Recommend solutions and improvements based on data insights.

Process Improvement

  • Evaluate current IT and multimedia workflows and recommend process enhancements.
  • Document process updates and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to improve team productivity.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure IT and multimedia operations comply with company policies, industry standards, and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of licenses, procedures, configurations, and support activities.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to IT and multimedia.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in IT support, multimedia production, or a related role (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may be considered)

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Skilled in system administration, installation, and configuration of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Proficient in multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent software.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining audio-visual equipment (projectors, video conferencing tools, cameras, sound systems).
  • Familiarity with website management, content updates, and basic HTML/CSS (an advantage).
  • Understanding of cloud services, data backup solutions, and IT security practices.

Soft Skills & Attributes

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and end-users.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team-oriented but capable of working independently.

Preferred/Optional

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Adobe Certified Professional, or similar
  • Experience in video editing, motion graphics, or digital content creation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes or helpdesk ticketing systems.
