About the role

As a Safety Practitioner at New Golden City Builders and Development Corp., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our construction workforce. This full-time position is based in Metro Manila and will involve implementing and monitoring our comprehensive health, safety and environmental policies.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing, implementing and monitoring safety management systems and procedures
  2. Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  3. Investigating incidents and accidents, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions
  4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  5. Collaborating with project management teams to integrate safety considerations into construction plans
  6. Maintaining detailed records and reporting on safety performance metrics

What we're looking for

  1. Significant experience as a Safety Practitioner or Health, Safety & Environment Officer in the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
  3. Excellent risk assessment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  4. Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety management systems
  5. Outstanding communication and training skills to engage workers at all levels
  6. Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture and continuous improvement
  7. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
