On-site - MandaluyongFresh Graduate/Student Bachelor ContractJob DescriptionDescriptionJob Title: Data ModelerJob Overview:A Data Modeler is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data models that support an organization's data strategy. Their role is critical in ensuring data is structured efficiently for storage, retrieval, and analysis. Responsibilities:Understanding the data requirements of different business processes and stakeholders to create suitable data models.

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business requirements. Define data entities, attributes, relationships, and constraints to ensure consistency and integrity. Ensure data models align with governance policies, business rules, and standards.

Enforce naming conventions, data definitions, metadata standards, and documentation. Work with Data Stewards to maintain data quality and consistency. Partner with Data Architects to design scalable, optimized database structures.

Collaborate with ETL developers and Data Engineers to implement data pipelines that align with the models. Engage with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into effective data structures. Support data warehousing and analytical modeling for reporting and AI/ML use cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Strong understanding of database concepts (relational, dimensional, NoSQL). Data analysis skills.

Business knowledge and ability to translate business needs into data models. SQL query writing skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:Familiarity with data warehousing methodologies. Experience with Snowflake. Familiarity with Finance or Banking data models.

Ability to work with business users and technical teams. Strong skills in maintaining data dictionaries, lineage, and business glossaries. Experience Levels:Junior Data Modeler (1-3 years experience)Exposure to relational (OLTP) and dimensional (OLAP) models.

Ability to write queries with joins, indexing, and basic performance tuning. Understanding of data ingestion and transformation concepts. Basic understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
