  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo).
  • Knowledge of mechanical design principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and materials science.
  • Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, welding, 3D printing).
  • Understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC systems, engines, pumps, compressors, etc.
  • Basic programming/scripting (e.g., MATLAB, Python) is a plus in some roles.
  • Knowledge of ASME, ISO, or other relevant industry codes/standards.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems like TPM or CMMS in manufacturing roles.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
