IT Supervisor

Job Description:

The IT Supervisor is mainly responsible in supervising and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the IT Team and ensures that all tasks are executed properly and compliant to IT standard and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all users request and authorizations (windows, e-mail, workspace) and provide adequate support to all user requests.
  • Provides supervision in the set-up, enhancement and maintenance of the network and ensures that network is running, and all devices have access to ensure continuous work activities of the employees.
  • Performs assessments on company systems to ensure proper operations and to identify any issues that need to be addressed.
  • Designs, analyses and implements efficient IT systems or programs that will be requested by management.
  • Responsible in monitoring and maintenance of IT related hardware, software and applications and creates disaster recovery plans for corporate and data systems.
  • Ensures compliance to IT Security as mandated by the global headquarters.
  • Monitors regular inventory and record of all hardware, software and manuals of ONE property and ensures back-up process is in place to ensure availability of data.
  • Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior or from the Region or Global Headquarters.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related course
  • At least seven (7) years work experience in Business Process and Information and any related function
  • Knowledgeable in Network, Software Administration, IT Infrastructure, Google Sheets/Docs/Workspace
  • Background in shipping/logistics system is an advantage
  • Must have a good oral and written English communication skills
