Position: Intermediate Estimator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (Philippine Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Intermediate Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a background in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and bids for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and proposals.
  • Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Groundplan, or similar platforms to assist in quantity take-offs and project analysis.
  • Use EstimateOne for tendering and procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely submissions.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and historical cost records.
  • Prepare and present bid proposals and cost reports.
  • Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor bids and vendor quotations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Estimator in Construction
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Groundplan, or similar software.
  • Experience with EstimateOne is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
