Position Objective:
As a Sales Manager (Individual Contributor), you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and providing tailored IT solutions that meet client needs. This role requires a strong grasp of market trends, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and supporting business development initiatives—without direct team management responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy Execution
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
2.Lead Generation and Business Development
- Actively prospect and generate leads through networking, cold calls, referrals, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company's products and services.
3.Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored IT solutions to address business challenges.
4.Solution Selling
- Present IT solutions effectively, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of products like Microsoft Office365, D365, and Azure.
- Overcome objections and negotiate terms to close sales efficiently.
5.Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline to track progress toward individual sales goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and pipeline status.
6.Target Achievement
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas while maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and drive lead conversions.
7.Post-Sales Coordination
- Work with implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition and onboarding for new clients.
- Address and resolve any client concerns to maintain satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years in business development or sales, preferably in IT services.
Key Competencies & Skills:
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in IT services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence decision-makers and build trust.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT solutions and the ability to convey their value effectively.
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, licensing, and product management.
- Experience in contract management and solution selling.
