Job Summary

The Graphic Artist (Packaging & Labels Design) is responsible for developing, updating, and ensuring accuracy in product packaging and label designs. The role combines creativity with technical precision, working closely with R&D, Procurement, and suppliers to maintain brand consistency and compliance in all packaging materials.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Packaging Artwork & Layout Design

  • Create and update packaging layouts in line with product changes.
  • Ensure accuracy in details such as ingredients, nutrition facts, and CPR.
  • Review and approve design proofs (bromides, LSDs) before mass production.
  • Meet project timelines for packaging (2–3 months) and labels (2–3 weeks).

2. Product Barcode Management

  • Generate and register product barcodes with GS1 Philippines.
  • Ensure barcode accuracy and prevent duplication.
  • Communicate approved barcodes to relevant departments.

3. Supplier Accreditation

  • Assist in scouting and accrediting new label and packaging suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier visits and assessments for compliance and capability.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on label and packaging issues.

4. Creative Works

  • Organize and execute product photoshoots.
  • Prepare materials, ingredients, and product layouts for shoots.
  • Handle food styling and final layout preparation.

Work Conditions

  • Primarily based at the Head Office, with occasional fieldwork as required.
  • Collaborates with internal teams (Procurement, R&D, QAD, Marketing) and external suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any course.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a graphic designer, with at least 1 year in product packaging and label design.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in design software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and creativity aligned with current design trends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16, Php19,000.00 per month
