Key Responsibilities
- Policy & Program Development:
Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the module's specific operations.
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments, and site inspections to identify potential risks, evaluate their severity, and propose control measures.
- Training & Awareness:
Design and deliver safety training programs to employees to enhance their understanding of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and hazard recognition.
- Incident Investigation:
Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-misses to determine their root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Compliance & Reporting:
Stay updated on all relevant safety legislation and regulations, ensuring the module's operations meet and exceed these standards. Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and records.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with employees, management, and other departments to promote a strong safety culture and address safety concerns promptly.
- Monitoring & Improvement:
Continuously monitor the effectiveness of safety measures, review safety performance, and recommend improvements to foster a culture of continuous safety enhancement.
- Emergency Response:
Be prepared to manage emergency situations, including the implementation of emergency response plans.
