Context

The BIM Coordinator will be in-charge of Maintance of BIM Models and collaboration to other departments involved.

Missions/Main Duties
  • Model Management & Collaboration
    • Maintaining & managing BIM models, ensure they are up to date & accurate.
    • Facilitate communication & collaboration between different project team.
    • Managing the BIM Execution Plan & ensuring team adherance to it.
    • Coordinating the integration of models from different discliplines. 
  • Clash Detection & Resolution
    • Perfoming clash detection to identify potential conflict between different models
    • Coordinating the resolution of clashes & design issues.
  • Quality Assurance & Control
    • Performing quality checks on BIM models to ensure they meet project requirements. 
    • Reviewing BIM deliverables and ensuring they are of high quality.
  • BIM Strandards and Compliance
    • Developing and implementing BIM standard protocols, and workflows for the project. 
    • Ensuring compliance with project specific BIM Standards and industry best practices.
    • Training project personnel on BIM tools and workflows.
  • Project Support
    • Avoiding technical support to project team on BIM-related issues. 
    • Assisting with the development and maintenance of BIM content libraries.
    • Preparing and maintaining project document related to BIM.
  • Communication and Coordination
    • Conducting regular BIM coordination meeting to communicate project changes and resolve design.
    • Serving as a point of contact for BIM related queries & issues.
    • Communicating project status and progress to the project team and stakeholders.
Profile/Skills

Educational Attainment: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Skills:

  • HVAC Design
  • Fire Protection Design
  • Plumbing Design
  • BIM Coordination
  • Strong understanding of BIM Principles & workflows
  • Proficiency in BIM software (eg Revit, Naviswork, BIM360)
  • Excellent communication & Collaboration skills
  • Problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team. 
  • Familiarity with construction processes and regulation (ISO
