The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while ensuring excellent customer experience. The role emphasizes beverage preparation, presentation, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the café or restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Beverage Preparation

  • Prepare coffee, and specialty drinks according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and serving temperature.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment properly.

2. Customer Service

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with menu inquiries.
  • Take beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

3. Store Upkeep & Cleanliness

  • Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and workstations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of counters, tables, and dining areas.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

4. Inventory Assistance

  • Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
  • Notify the supervisor of low stock or equipment issues.
  • Assist in organizing supplies and deliveries.

5. Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other staff for smooth workflow during peak hours.
  • Support team members as needed.
  • Participate in training programs and follow company SOPs.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or above.
  • Prior experience as a barista preferred but not required (training provided).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing methods is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Honest, reliable, and willing to work weekends/holidays.
