Field Service Engineer/ Project Site Engineer

Reporting into the Technical Services/Project team, we are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at EGM SYSTEMS GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES INC.' Based in Pasig City Metro Manila, this is a full-time position.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

• Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our range of engineering equipment and systems installed at client sites
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner to minimise client downtime
• Provide end-user training and support to ensure our clients can operate the equipment effectively
• Maintain detailed records of all service activities and prepare comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with the broader technical team to share knowledge and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment at client facilities
• Install, test, and commission equipment or systems at customer sites.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on proper usage and safety.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with the internal engineering, sales, and support teams for technical solutions.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
• Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar technical support role
• Proven track record of successful troubleshooting and repair of a wide range of industrial equipment and systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with clients
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex issues
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the region as required

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field).
• Proven experience in field service, technical support, or equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel frequently.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software relevant to the equipment.

• Project Site Engineer

  • Supervise and manage on-site construction or installation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
  • Solve on-site technical problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
  • Proven experience in site engineering, construction management, or project execution.
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging environments and handle multiple tasks.
