About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
Accounting Specialist (Cost Accounting)
to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and controlling costs related to our operations, supporting financial planning, and ensuring accurate reporting of cost-related data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and analyze cost records and prepare cost accounting reports.
  • Monitor manufacturing or operational costs and variances.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and cost allocations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cost accounting or related financial roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and standard costing principles.

Nice to Have

  • CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in automotive sectors
