About the role
Excellent Gourmet Foods Corporation is seeking motivated and ambitious individuals to join our Management Trainee program. This full-time role in Metro Manila offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive business and leadership experience within a dynamic and growing organization. Through a structured training program, you will develop the skills and knowledge to become a future store manager or take on other key leadership positions in our expanding network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any business-related course
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and long hours
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and lead by example
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a food or restaurant operations is preferred but not required.
- Leadership experience is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Participate in a comprehensive training program covering all aspects of store operations, customer service, inventory management, and team leadership
- Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the store and upholding food safety standard
- Assist store managers in the day-to-day running of store outlets, including tasks such as cash control handling, product stocking, standard cost control, and staff supervision to achieve store targets
- Identify opportunities to improve store performance and efficiency, and implement effective solutions in order to achieve profit targets
- Provide exceptional customer service to build brand loyalty and drive sales, handles customer feedback and complaints professionally and escalates to the Restaurant Manager in a timely manner to address them
- Support the development and training of store-level staff and effectively manage the store's manpower resources without sacrificing quality
- Implement standard operating procedures to ensure seamless store operations, comply with the standards in managing store documents and reports and executing any administrative tasks as needed
- To perform other assigned tasks as needed
