About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This role is hands-on and detail-oriented, ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in accounting and deep experience in both partnership and corporate taxation. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in tax filings, financial reviews, and investor reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Review monthly and quarterly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, general ledger) to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.

  • Review federal, state, and local tax filings for entities including partnerships, LLCs, and C-Corps.

  • Assist in preparing quarterly income projections and estimated tax payments for federal, state, and local authorities.

  • Support investor tax reporting, including K-1 allocations, waterfall calculations, and review of Schedule K-1s.

  • Assist with managing tax audits and responding to notices from tax authorities.

  • Maintain and update the tax compliance calendar to ensure timely filings and payments.

  • Gather documentation and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and relevant stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master's in Taxation/Accounting a plus).

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, ideally within small to mid-sized firms.

  • Strong bookkeeping background with proven experience from books through to tax preparation.

  • Extensive experience preparing corporate and partnership tax returns.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated history of professional growth and long-term tenure within a single organization.
