Job Title: Business Intelligence / Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence / Data Analyst to support our growing data needs. This role is split between producing high-quality reports for business stakeholders and migrating/automating existing reporting from legacy systems into Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, improve reporting efficiency, and support decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, maintain, and deliver clear, accurate, and timely business reports (approx. 50% of the role).

· Migrate legacy reporting into Power BI, including redesigning and automating existing reporting processes (approx. 50%).

· Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data.

· Use Excel for data analysis, validation, and ad-hoc reporting tasks.

· Build intuitive, interactive Power BI dashboards and data models.

· Collaborate with internal teams to understand data requirements and improve reporting workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence/Data Analyst
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience creating and maintaining business reports and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, data validation, and ETL principles.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Bonus Skills:

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

· Basic scripting ability (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar).

Ideal Candidate:

Someone analytical, detail oriented, and proactive - comfortable working with data, improving processes, and helping the business get real value from its reporting.
