The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial health by monitoring budgets, overseeing accounting records, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. In a furniture company, the role also involves cost control, pricing support, inventory valuation, and financial planning to optimize profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collection and payment.
  • Monitor company cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Oversee payroll processing and statutory compliance (taxes, government contributions, etc.).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding payment terms and settlements.
  • Support management in pricing strategies, product costing, and margin analysis.
  • Conduct inventory audits and ensure accurate valuation of furniture products and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies when required.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer, Accountant, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Furniture Industry Advantage):

  • Experience in manufacturing or retail industry, preferably furniture.
  • Knowledge of inventory costing and control systems.
  • Familiarity with importation, logistics, and supplier credit terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
