Key Duties & Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning & Maintenance

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and hallways according to hotel standards.
  • Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and amenities (toiletries, water, etc.).
  • Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks, safety hazards) to supervisors.

Public/Service Areas

  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, corridors, stairways, and restrooms.
  • Restock housekeeping carts and supply stations as needed.
  • Follow proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure safety.

Guest Interaction & Safety

  • Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally.
  • Adhere to hotel safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
  • Report and turn in found items in accordance with company policy.

Teamwork & Service

  • Coordinate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Attend shift briefings and follow instructions or special assignments.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Tourism, or any related field is preferred but not required or at least a Senior High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Hotel or hospitality-related training (TESDA NC II Housekeeping) is an advantage.

Experience

  • Preferably 6 months to 1 year housekeeping or related work experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Fresh graduates may be considered depending on hotel standards.

Skills & Attributes

  • Knowledge of room cleaning standards, housekeeping procedures, and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team, and under pressure.
  • Physically fit with the capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

  • Contribute to high guest satisfaction and uphold hotel reputation for quality and service.

Pay: Php695.00 per day
